The short verdict

Kit is an email marketing platform for creators: landing pages, forms, automations and a free plan up to 10,000 subscribers. It runs paid newsletters with a 3.5% + 30¢ transaction fee.

Blogaly is a publication first: a full website with posts, pages and themes, plus newsletters and paid tiers with a 0% platform fee (Stripe’s standard processing fees still apply). If automations and selling products drive your business, Kit is the stronger tool.

Questions

Kit lists a 3.5% + 30¢ transaction fee on paid newsletters and sales on every plan. Blogaly charges a 0% platform fee; only Stripe’s standard processing fees apply.

Is Blogaly an email marketing tool like Kit?

Not quite. Blogaly sends newsletters and welcome emails, and a beta lets you send new members a timed series of emails. It doesn’t match Kit’s visual automations and sequences. Blogaly is a publication platform: website, newsletter and paid members together.

Can I move my Kit subscribers to Blogaly?

Can I use my own domain on Blogaly?

Yes, on the Publisher and Business plans, with HTTPS issued and renewed automatically.

Can I try Blogaly for free?

Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no credit card.
