Terms of Service

Last updated: Draft, not yet effective

Draft pending legal review. This text is not yet in effect and may change before Blogaly launches.

1. Overview

These terms cover your use of Blogaly, a private, hosted publishing platform. By using Blogaly you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Blogaly is operated as a private, invite-based service. It is not sold as a product and it is not self-hostable.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for anything done through it. Keep your credentials safe. Tell us if you think someone else has access.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use Blogaly.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you publish. You give Blogaly the limited permission it needs to store, process, and display that content so the service can work — for example, to render your posts, send your newsletters, and back up your data.

You are responsible for your content. Do not publish anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.

4. Acceptable use

Use Blogaly in good faith. Do not:

  • break the law or help others do so,
  • send spam or abusive email,
  • try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service,
  • or use it to harm other people.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep Blogaly available, but we do not promise it will never go down. We may change, pause, or retire features. When a change matters to you, we aim to give reasonable notice.

6. Fees

If a paid plan applies to your account, the pricing and billing terms are set out when you sign up. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

7. Termination

You can stop using Blogaly at any time. We can suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service. You can export your content before you leave.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Blogaly is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and limit our liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will give notice. Continuing to use Blogaly after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms go to the Blogaly team. A support address will be added before launch.
